Default New to me 2025

I have the opportunity to purchase a 2025 Road Glide with only 2900 miles at a great price. I’ve been riding an 03 LowRider with forward controls for twenty years now. When I test drove the Road Glide it felt cramped. Is there any way to move the controls a little bit forward or do you just get used to that riding position.

please be more specific define "cramped" ... forward controls are often referred to as foot .. the handlebars on the 25 RG have a forward and rearward range of adjustability .. I'm 6'3" and mine has great ergonomics on every aspect

depending on how great of a deal it is..I'd recommend waiting for a 26 or maybe even 27 for them to get more issues sorted out ..should be pretty solid by MY # 4 of these new gen CC models

It just feels like my legs and knees are awkward. There’s plenty of room for my arms. The bike has 2900 miles on it and they’re asking 24 for it
what are some of the issues?

it's no short list..this was a new subform created for these newest models and a search will yield plenty of details

I felt the same way on my '24 Road Glide, The stock seat sucked for me, it felt like my knees were above my hips and I was unable to stretch my legs out to causing leg pain. I put a Ultimate tall boy solo seat on the bike. It relieved the pressure on my knees and hips, I can tell it moved me back because now I'm having trouble reaching the hiway pegs like before but I feel the need to use them less than with the stock seat. The bars still feel fine but I think a riders backrest will make it even better. It's a great bike that handles good and is very peppy, I never feel the need to use sport mode.

I had a 2016 RG and put JayBrake forwards on, I really liked them. Not sure they are making them any longer. I think Accutronix still makes them but not sure for the new touring bikes. I wanted forwards again but I got used to the footboards. Definitively take the heel shifter off for more room. You can also get highway pegs.

For issues, ignition coil wire harness flaw causing limping and/or a non-functioning motorcycle New SB M1700 - Harley Davidson Forums, Infotainment center glitches, car play flaky (I don't use), air intake to crankcase hose hole missing Anyone seen this yet? - Harley Davidson Forums, SEPST unable to connect to bluetooth, the list is pretty long.

I will say though that mine has been pretty flawless but I do have a CVO, not sure if that matters? I did have one infotainment glitch, when I started the bike it went blank and restarted but I haven't seen that again. That was months after the last IFCU update. And I had to purchase the y cable because as stated above, the bluetooth connection would not work to do the SEPST tune.

So the motorcycle he's looking for... and your 2016 are totally different. And the problems you listed are first world problems...

Highway pegs and you will be good. I almost never use my floor boards.
