Default Deutsch connector disassembly

I disassembled my handlebars today because I dropped my bike last week and bent the bars pretty good. I'm gonna try to get them trued by a local muffler shop (as an offline friend suggested).

I remember when I made the switch to apes and disassembling the deutsch connectors drove me nuts. I know it's always been a hot topic on here.

I did a quick little video about it. Not that difficult at all. I think video is a lot easier to unerstand than someone trying to explain it with written words and some photos.

If the vid isn't available yet, give it a few. I just uploaded it to youtube about 5min. ago. Also, I chopped my head off in it. Bad camera angle. Hope this helps someone not pull their hair out doing an internal wiring job.

Bro, that was really good. Definitely a keeper for future reference. Thank you for taking the time to do that.

Wow that rocked. Great job SC! I have seen pics of how to take them apart but seeing it on video really made me understand what they were talking about.

And I excuse you for being messy. LOL!

No problem at all. Something I've wanted to do for awhile. Pics/write-ups just wasn't cutting it for me, although very much appeciated. Was just having issues grasping the concept. Once you sit down and pull them apart then it all makes sense.

I'm hoping to video my cam swap. Maybe sometime this summer. That's my goal anyway.

By the way, I just watched that video. You have no idea how similar I am to my dad. It's a strange feeling I have right now.
