SC - Excellent work. I am in the middle of converting my 01 FXD tank set-up to a wideglide tank set-up so I "building" a little harness to mate to the one at the neck. This video helps alot. Thanks man.

Nice work SC-Long hair. I have my tank off and have stripped off the old bars, wires, and cables (done the front indicator relo). Have been scratching my head and wondering whether to cut the bar control wires and splice pieces of wires to extend them so dont have to mess with the connectors. But, seeing your video now has made me decide to buy the extension kit and dissasemble the connectors.
Ive booked marked this video and will watch it again just before doing the wiring.
Cheers mate!
Kevin
P.S. Im installing 16" Carlini Gangster Apes.

Where was this video last year when I powder coated the front end.... lol. Thanks for the info and nothing helps better than actually seeing it done.....Will try it out when I swap my bars this winter...
Nice video! A week earlier would have been helpful though as I painfully had to figure this out for myself. Originally the paper clip that I was using was too thick, and it was driving my crazy. Finally tried the smallest one I could find and it did the trick. Once you get the first pin out the rest go much quicker!
