Well my Lo finally arrived yesterday after about 5 months of waiting. New battery in and she fired straight up.
Now as I bought the bike second hand and imported into Australia from the US it didn't come with a service manual. Does anyone have an electronic version of it or could scan it and email it to me?
Cheers
Simon.
I don't see any free versions of it online, but you can buy and download an electronic version for pretty cheap..
Hey Everyone!
I was wondering how you guys take off the side markers off the forks and the rear fender? Is it just a matter of ripping them off? Is there a lot of adhesive to deal with as well? Just would like to know what the best way to do it is before I scratch the bike. Thanks in advance!
I used a hair dryer and pulled them off with my fingers. I then cleaned the residue with WD-40. Took approx 20-25 minutes for all 4 taking my time.
Hey guys thanks for letting me know how to take off the markers. I used fishing line with the emblems off of my truck so I will try the hair dryer/line combo. I will try it out tomorrow.
As promised I took some pics after I cleaned the bike up. I took shots of all sides of the bike. Sorry if I am putting too many pics of my bike up. I am new to the forum thing so I am not too sure what is excessive haha. Also I am in love with this bike so I want to show it off haha. By the way I LOVE all the Los on this thred, they all look amazing! The Lo is by far one of the nicest bikes being made today, all of the versions on here show how great they can look. Keep up the modding guys! Looks awesome!

How does that moustache bar work in combo with the air cleaner? In some pix it looks like you could comfortably use the foot rest and in others it looks like you'd have to jam your foot/leg between the two. I'd like to add some different leg positions to my bike and I was just curious how that works for you. Ideally I'd like to be able to put my feet on that rubber footing and add some extra pegs on the side. Would love to find something I could still tap the rear brake with my heel while my foot remained on the highway peg.
Your bike looks clean. Mine is covered in dirt and bugs to the point I think my headlight is probably dimmer. HA HA!
I might buy your stock foot boards off you if you got them.
Thanks for sharing the pix. I half regret not going with the vivid black but don't tell my wife because that'shat she tried to convience me to get. Last thing I need to hear is I told you so. lol
Hows that bullet fairing work? Can you take some pictures to show how it mounts to the bike?
take some from the front of the bike?
The bullet fairing is working great for the extra wind protection, I wouldn't ride without it now. It attaches to the same 4 bolt holes that hold on the metal near the headlight. I meant to have the support brackets cromed black but the local shop's croming process was not much to be desired, so I'll wait til the Winter and get them powercoated.

The mustache bar and that air cleaner work alright together. I can get my heel on the rubber pad but it is kinda tight. I havent relly used it much since I havent been on the highway, I just tried it out quickly. It seems like it would be kinda comfortable, but the other side is great haha. I was also thinking of getting a foot peg to attach onto the side of it. I do not think you could use the brake with the aircleaner in the way. If you do already have the same air cleaner I would say go with a smaller one and thebar and you should be fine!
Ya I took pics after i washed and waxed her lol. I wanted the flat black (denim) instead of the gloss, thats all they had at the dealer, but I actually really like the look of the bike with the gloss. At least it gives me something to do, I love waxing and getting it looking great. It is almost like a stress reliever haha. The gloss, flat and satin aluminum look great together. I dont think you should kick yourself in the butt, both the blacks look amazing!!

I was cleaning my bike and my neighbor's kid decided to help by spraying bleach white on my pipes. By the time I seen what he done and washed it off it was too late. I now have stains on the pipes I can't get off.
Does anyone know how to get the stains out or is it stained forever?
