Default ? for those who have installed SAS air shocks

Just finished the install and have a question. The heim joints on the swingarm side free float on the mounting bolts and I was wondering if this is normal. In other words, when I tighten up the mounting bolt that runs through the heim joint, into the SAS body, it bottoms out before it makes contact with the heim. So, there is about 1/4" space between one side of the heim and the bolt head, and 1/4" space between the other side of the heim and the SAS body. Normal?

I don't have the SAS kit. But I've got a Platinum Kit. And mine is the same way. I called Platinum and asked, and was told that's how it's susposed to be. That's to keep it from binding.

Chop On,
Robert
