Install took me about 90 min. I could probably do it in half the time now. I did use air tools on the shock bolts. I paid around $700 13 months ago with a HD Forums discount. System has worked flawlessly during this time and has lowered this 09 UC down to a safe height for me. Ride is great and turns heads when I slam it at bike night. I use it to drop it on a lowered center stand and am extremely happy I bought it.
where do you find these systems at half the price of the others.are you getting the basics which is only the pump and shocks.I see them at 1250. to 1500. most places on ebay I've checked.Maybe I didn't look hard enough. How many different bikes have you rode with different brand air rides to make the call of which is better AnC09? 1, 2, 3 or none? If you can't get bolts off what the hell are you gonna do to torque them back up DD? You're not driving a car when you put it back together.
As far as the best ride out of the 4 different types of shocks I was able to ride before I bought Arnott, which by the way I didn't pay anywhere near a 1000, was the SAS.A little smoother when loaded 2 up and that was it.Worst in my opinion was the Progressive air tail on a Fatboy.Like riding a pogo stick when cornering no matter where you set the psi.Granted I didn't ride a Shotgun set up,not in existence yet when I bought, but I can't hardly believe that the ride is noticeably different from the others.I've done a few installs of the Arnott and it is a little bit of a pain in the azz to get everything plumbed but not hard by any means 2-3 hours depending on the bike.Just did a SAS and that only took a little over an hour, very clean.Flame on.
