Is there any way possible that these shocks could be draining my battery??? I always double check to see if the switches are in the neutral position. They are NEVER left on.
I just want to be sure before I take my battery that I bought just a few months ago back to the Indy. I do not want him using that against me. I want to be able to tell him it's not possible. It seems like ever since I installed the shocks my battery before gave me problems and now this one.
What would that help with? I do not want to keep hooking and un hooking the battery lines. I just want to know if it is a possibility of the Shotguns draining the battery. Any way to test it out.
I have enough juice for all my lights and air ride but not enough to start the bike.
I know for a fact mine was not on. I read that one of my fellow night train guys did it and I remember every time to double check. The dam thing was even sitting on a trickle charger.

Unhooking the shocks is the test...it's called troubleshooting...simple test to see if the shocks are the problem. Anything hooked to the battery could drain it. Most likely a loose battery cable from your description of the problem
air up the shock to where you like it and unhook the pos and neg that feed the shock, then see if you still have the problem.
X2 with the above! If you suspect the shocks are causing the problem, disconnect the + & - leads to confirm. If your battery still goes dead after temporarily disconnecting the shocks, it ain't the shocks. If it don't go dead, it is the shocks. A very simple way to confirm whether the shock are the issue or not.
Eveytime I get off the bike I slam it and before I start it to leave anywhere I raise it... I don't have any problems. So I don't think showing your friends is going to kill the battery, IMO.
