Default lowering kit

Dont know if I'm in the right section, but I have a 2009 street glide. just removed rear air susp. installed new BURLY Slammer kit in frt & rear. looks real good. Dropped it about 2". have one little problem, since this is a 2009 with redesigned frame & swing arm. the left side of swing arm just hits the end of frame. If I adjust rear spring to be stiffer,it make bike high, that would be a waste of having lowering kit.Had to grind away frame end abit. Has anyone needed to do that. Iknow on the 2006-08,there is no need to grind>
