Just talked to JD and decided to order the Shotguns. Great guy and service since they are being shipped today - the discount doesn't hurt either. I'm looking forward to a great ride.
So what you guys are telling me is that it's the Shotgun Shock I should get?
lol
Seriously though- it's either that or the Street Glide I test rode the other day:
i have been tossing around the idea of getting a glide for awhile never road one but i dont think they can ride better than with shotgun , but i would like a stereo. how was the s g ?

Let's put it this way- it kind of soured me on my Train. I guess it just comes down to a change of heart/mind/outlook. I love that fact that I get compliments from random people on the street everyday and people stop to take pix of the Train (I've watched that happen many times). It's an (at least for this area) unusual bike. However, it's SO limited in it's application. I want to start seeing more of our country and staying on the road for longer and the NT just isn't the bike to do it on. Even with air ride, I still have to deal with the fact that if I want to carry a change of clothes, I gotta stuff 'em in my backpack.
Also, during the test ride, I found myself singing out loud along to the Harmon-Kardon am/fm/cd/mP3 system. I liked that.
Got the shotguns installed today. All I can say is WOW you are correct on the ride. Like riding on a magic carpet. JD was cool to talk to while he was installing the shocks. He said before I left that I would not believe the ride, well he was right I can't believe a Harley can ride this smooth.
