Got the shotguns installed today. All I can say is WOW you are correct on the ride. Like riding on a magic carpet. JD was cool to talk to while he was installing the shocks. He said before I left that I would not believe the ride, well he was right I can't believe a Harley can ride this smooth.
"it rides like a dream" is how i can best describe it...
now you'll be singing the same tune when someone else asks "which air ride is the best?"
Thats the easy part, rent a sg for a weekend and do 10-14hrs on it "with the OL" and she will come around pretty quick. Those train saddles suck for the OL.....ask me how I know....
Thanks Tom. I really hate the idea of letting go of the Train as I've sunk so much thought/care/cash into it, but... I dunno- I just think it might be time for a change.
Course, I might just pick up a SS and keep the Train until I'm in my 70's!

Yup same boat. Do I break the bike down and sell all the parts.Or do I just wait to get what I want from the right buyer who likes what I've done with the bike.
Really want to do more long distance trips. The hard bags, tunes and some wind protection would be REAL nice.
Ramboamt - Congrats and glad to hear you like the Shotgun and can see firsthand why it's the most popular here.
I was just eyeballing and comparing the SG and RG the day before. HUMMM! Not sure about getting used to the fixed fairing up front. lol
No way I can let go of the Lux, but hope to maybe add one as a second to the stable sometime this summer. I've been thinking of how I can trailer the Lux.....with the SG or RG!!!! LMAO The way my back is getting the long rides are getting tough and the OL ain't having nothing to do with the Bare Bone pillion! LMAO

I just got back from the ROT Rally in Austin. Five hours on the Night Train with one 10 min stop for gas and zero complaints from my wife. That was after riding all day Thurs and Friday. Before installing the Shotgun Shock, she wouldn't ride for more than an hour.
