Smile Infinity 62.11i in rear pods

There have been many discussions on this forum in regard to the infinity 62.11i speakers fitting in the rear pods of an Ultra. I just wanted to let anyone with any doubts know that I have now installed those speakers in every Ultra from 2006 to 2013 with no issues. They drop right in without spacers just like the Polk MM651's do. I can't confirm anything before '06.

Thanks Guys!

Hey Gan
So there is no need to use a spacer for clearance at all?
Will the magnet and speaker basket clear the passenger controlls that are on the side of the pod?
Also will the stock metal cvo boom audio speaker grills fit these speakers as well?

spacers are only required on the 14 and up models because of the relocation of the passenger controls more upward in the pods.

If you're referring to the stock speaker grills with the chrome trim rings, no sir they wont' fit. If you're talking about the BA upgraded speaker grills, yes they'll fit.
