I came home from work today and found a nice box of goodies at my door that I purchased from Drew at HOGPRO. A Biketronics 2180 amp and a pair of 7.1 speakers. I"m thinking the stock head unit needs to go and I"m looking at the Sony MEX -M70 BT

you'll be very pleased. might as well get the rest of what you need while you wait.
Walmart crafts section. get you a small roll of thin layered polyfil. Wrap those speakers in 3 thin layers in a 15x15" square.

oh, and leave the stocker head unit in for now. I think you'll be surprised at how well it performs once you have the right components in place.

I figured while I had the fairing apart I would do the head unit also so I have no regrets------ unless someone chimes in and says No improvements will be heard

I'm expecting the Brown Truck two possibly three times this week....I'm quite excited. Will be picking up the other necessities like the polyfil and more solder today or tomorrow.
