I was so happy to see it show up . I opened it and pulled it out of the box and it cracked in my hand. I think it was from the cold weather we are having but has anyone had this problem? I hope they have a warrenty on this thing for 90.00$ they better.

Hmm.... that's awfully thick plastic to simply crack from weather. No damage to shipping box?
That's crazy! It's pretty sturdy piece of plastic. I've yet to have any issues and I've had mine for 6 months.
About a year here. . . Best thing I've ever purchased for my bike. Must be defective from V-twin or UPS damaged it. Early in my career I was a team lead at FedEx and if you seen the way they throw our packages around none of us would ever use FedEx or UPS for shipping. I could tell you some horror stories. lol
I have a BT it fall off all the time. Called Vtwin they had me send it back for a new one. Just so I am clear it cracked in the face area where you look through it. It sat out side for 3 day in freezing cold temps. The only down side 26.00 to ship it back to them.that company is in Canada.
I read a lot about the vtwin rain cover. Confused over the difference compared with the BT cover. Tried to look at their website but it is difficult to see the details. Does it mount the same as the BT? Does it flip down or up? If you have a clear picture, that would be great. Thanks. Sorry to thread jack.
It has rubber that holds it in place. its not clear but you can see your radio threw it. My uncle loves it on sunny days he said you can read the display perfect. I asked him about night time he said his display looks good. The BT is cheap and falls out all the time. It just pops in and out no hinges.
