My dream setup.... mmmm. My Home Theater 7.2 setup (includes 2 15" powered subs)... yes, you are wondering about bag space being given up... no worries, I will pull a 3x6 trailer behind the Harley
oh yeah, bike cannot keep up with power needed - so I added a 3000Watt Generator ). Add a 135" electric dropdown screen in my fairing with a 3D UD projector on my helmet and...
I got my dream setup LMAO...
As I only got a 13 SG, I am limited to 4 speakers (lowers could be added but not doing so)...
pretty happy with my setup but if I could choose, BT "all the way" most likely. keeping my Pioneer, perhaps swap out for unit that would allow quick switch P-lot / driving... not sure is there are HU's that allow you to put LP/HP on each "channel" (front/ rear I mean). that would be neat...
Yep this going to be a good thread, and Gan, don't worry you can stretch the rules. Again more fun than anything. Few I can't wait to hear from.
Yeah Chris . . .I like this thread. Very creative on your part. It's fun to dream. What concerns me is the future. Harley Davidson is making it increasingly difficult to put a nice aftermarket system on a bike. Anytime you have to go to the dealer and get a "Flash" just to upgrade your audio system is a crock. Harley has once again found a way to make money off our ingenuity and creativity. They have been doing it for years. I was thinking about getting a 15' or 16' glide just because I've never had a glide before. But with all the magic boxes, flashes and all that crap I'm thinking 12' or 13' It would **** me off big time to run back and forth to the dealer just to get my tunes sounding good. We won't even talk about the crack technical audio staff Harley hires on board. All they want to talk about is the BOOM system. . .lol

Gann - get a standard Glide then. rip that PoS (Point of (No)Sale ) of a radio (4.3 inch version?) out the fairing and put aftermarket radio in with the newly released bracket(s). I do not like the linstriping on the special anyway LOL.
but - I know what you mean and fully agree... they will keep finding ways to ensure we go back to the Dealer... I do NOT! I actually cancelled my extended warranty...

Yes Sir! Derk is the man! Him and Nutz would be the first guys I would consult on a project like that. It takes guts to rip your system out of your brand new bike and start from scratch. That would scare the hell out of most guys. . .Those new Harley's ain't cheap! Much respect Derk!
With no money as an issue hmmm that makes it all that much harder. I would buy a new Roadglide ordered straight from factory with no radio or speakers. Hire a private jet an pickup all the sound system gurus on this thread fly them to Miami for a week free of charge. Give them all the beer or poison of choice they wanted, after work of course. Give them the bike and tell them their only job while they are there is make it ROCK!!!!! and make it loud. Damn it feels so good to dream then you hit send, an BAM!! you are back to reality BUMMER
