What year and model is your bike? The ignition switch wiring harness on early to mid 2000 model year touring bikes runs from the switch to a 4 place packard connector that mounts right under the radio. If you disturbed that connector or the wires were somehow damaged or compromised during the amp install then that could be the problem.
Thank you for all of the advice. Maybe a four channel amp would be better in case I want to do lids in the future. What amp would you recommend for the 2015 RG? Biketronics is pretty pricey stuff.
Are you sure he needs speaker adapters on the 2015? I didn't but mine is a RGS. You will probably run into clearance issues with the stock speaker grilles. At least I did with the Infinity Kappa 62.11i.
You will also have to figure out some way to mount your amp as the only place there is room for one in the fairing (at least on a RGS) is under the factory HU. IDK if there is room on top of the HU on the standard RG with the 4.3.

Yes it is but well worth it. Lifetime warranty no questions asked. Plus you can call Bill and he will walk you threw the set up if you need it. He will not sell you crap you do not need. Very stand up company.

Soundstream 520 or Power Akoustic RZ2000D, but either one will kill FM reception.
