Looking to upgrade the system in my 2015 Road Glide. I have a good buddy with a SGS that swears he can hear his radio over 100mph with the following:
Precision Power i350.2 amp
Infinity Reference 6.5" Marine Grade Speakers
This combo seems very cost effective. Anyone have or hear this? Also, what other parts would I need? A wiring harness? Any adapters? A head unit flash at the dealership?

Precision power makes very good amps and that 2 channel i350.2 is no exception. It produces 175 watts at 2 ohms. But if we are talking about the infinity reference marine speakers I think they are 4 ohm speakers. Infinity 612M is the model number.
That same amp only produces 115 watts a 4 ohms. Not sure if that's going to be loud and clear at 100mph. What will be clear is the Infinity 62.11i speakers at 2 ohms.
You will need a set of 6.5 speaker adapters and a Boss 8 gauge wiring kit. You will have to get a 8 speaker no amp flash from the dealer. just in case you want to add additional speakers on down the road.
We recommend the arc audio adapters but there are cheaper options that will work.
I just installed the300x2chanel punch. I can't seem to get the radio to cut off with the ignition switch. What the heck went wrong. It sounds great other then that.
I'm running a Hawgwired amp & JL 6.5 speakers, from V-Twin comes with everything you need other than dealer flash plug-n-play very easy install, in my roadglide I could hear it fine yesterday @ 90! I don't know about the Infinity's but I didn't need adapters for my JL's!
I think he's talking about your remote turn on wire! Sounds like you've got it hooked to full time power & not key on!
I had it hooked to the cigarette liter and still had the same problem.
I tried disconnecting the remote turn on wire and still would not cut off. I have to pull amp fuse to get radio to turn off.

The PBR300X2 has an 4 to 6 volt Hi level voltage input turn on control. Should not have to use the remote wire if you are running high level and your HU is producing a 4V signal. The amp should come on automatically when it gets a signal. Check all your wires and make sure it's not grounding out anywhere. Totally disconnect the amp from the battery and start over.
