If I'm not mistaken (someone please correct me if I am), Hertz made the Titan's for Biketronics. The current Titan II's are made by Hybrid Audio Technologies.

I've had the Titan II's and the Hertz speakers. Both very good speakers but the edge goes to the Titan II's for bass. The BT7.1's are on another level. Better than both. Stick with the BT 7.1's. On another note the hertz speakers these days must be purchased from an authorized dealer or else you'll be buying fake hertz speakers.

Hertz are very good speakers but they have a steep price tag. Most are not going to spend that type money on speakers to go on a bike. I'm running Hertz in the fairing and in the bags myself and have been very pleased with them.
I've been running them fr year now with no problems. Great speaker. Like Gannicus said you must buy them from an authorized dealer to make sure their authentic.
Difference between the Hertz HSK 165XL Component and the Hertz SPL SV165.1/ST25. The interesting part the HSK 165XL's are more expensive than the SV165.1 and ST25 but the SV165/ST25 are almost twice as loud. The HSK are the top speakers and SV165.1 and ST25 are at the bottom. Both are on the radio power, 50W
