I went with sony x-plodes and they rock, easy on the wallet for only $39 bucks also.

I have had the MB quart and Polk audio -- now running the inifinitys --- can go wrong with any decent brand---I prefer the MB quart

no they are 4 ohm they will work -- the unit has to work a little harder to power them --- I am running an amp

Consider HOG Tunes. They are good speakers made specifically for HD's and the customer service is second to none.
