Hi I'm buying the Biketronics 4180 amp & need help with speaker decision
My original plan was to put BT 7.1's in the fairing & BT 6.5's in the lowers with the capability of adding the BT tour pack pods in the future. With the group buy going on a lot of people are looking @ the 7.1 pro's, so here is my dilemma should I stick with my original plan or should I put the 7.1 pro's in the fairing & skip the 6.5's in the lowers, With the pros in the fairing is there any need for the 6.5 in the lowers, I wouldn't mind keeping the storage in the lowers. I am going to use the stock head unit for a while but I will be changing it out.
Thx Bob

The 7.1's in the fairing with the 6.5's in the lowers is awesome and is going to sound better than just the PRO's in the fairing. I'd stick with the original plan.
With the forum discount and the price of the Ultimate Amp and Speaker Combo With Pods you save like $400 compared to piecing that kit together like I did. Even with the group buy prices of the amp and fairing speakers separate, having to add the rear pods later would be more than just buying the entire kit now. I would save now and skip the lower speakers and upgrade your rear pods, the 7.1's hit harder than the 6.5's and the 6X9's!
Do like me and just do it. You know how the saying goes. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

How many times can you use this card Rick? Playing the its a better upgrade card...right
Each time it gets a little harder. This time it will be "Hey, it's cheaper than the 6-speed tranny I was going to buy". Honestly she's pretty good about my bike spending as she spends a lot of time on it herself. She'll enjoy the tunes.
