most say yes, i said no after hearing mine (non-pro). It just wasn't the same quality sound as when i was just running all the speakers with the full 180 watts rms per channel. I chose to take advantage of the group buy and get a second bt 4180 to use in the tour pack to power the rear pod 7.1's and the saddlebag 6x9's. Most would probable be happy just running everything off one amp, it's still loud as hell.
I wont even see my bike for another 4 or 5 weeks...I did upgrades 2 years ago when it was in storage but driving 45 miles north only to realize you forgot a tool!!!
I like hearing all your guys take as you install your BT stuff Cant wait to for spring
Received my goodies today! Flash tomorrow at noon.
Install this weekend probably.. no time until then, agh
I am hoping to order the speakers and amp this weekend. Bike is in winter storage at the dealer. Can I have the dealer flash the bike before I pickup and then do the install? It will work to do the flash before the amp install?
Got mine in and they went straight in.... .... Be sure to read the install paper first, it'll save you some time. the 7.1's sound great in the Garage. Taking out Friday for a ride.

Nope, tried yesterday, have to do the amp and speakers first I guess. Im waiting on my boom audio speaker grills to come in so I won't have it done until next week

So the dealer wouldn't flash your bike because you didn't have the amp installed? I was hoping to save a trip back to the dealer and have them flash before pulling out of storage. Guess that will not be an option. That being the case then no issues with installing the amp and speaker and riding for a week before flashing?
The big brown truck finally delivered my 7.1's, 4180, and retro radio kit today after getting delayed 3 times due to the weather. This is some serious stuff here, can't wait to get it installed. Going to talk to Bill tomorrow about ordering a new HU to go along with all these goodies to top it all off. Planning on going with the Sony MEX-GS810BH Any of you guru's see any negatives with that? I'm an Android guy and don't care for any iPhone or phone tray stuff.
