With all of the hype from the group buy that we just had I thought I would see a lot more posts showing off the new system or at least bragging about it.
My bike is in the shop, so I only get to look at the boxes... Kenwood 858 HU, Ultimate Amp kit 4180 with Pods, 6.5's for the lowers and have the saddle bag lids waiting to be shipped.
I'm going crazy waiting to hear this! Hearing tgrisco's system didn't help and has me wondering how they will compare.
It's been FAR too cold here in Upstate NY to go out to the garage (uninsulated/unheated) to install my new BT4180!
But I will get to it...maybe May?
I hear ya there! After I get the bike back I will have to take it over to a family members garage that has heat or I'll just keep looking at the boxes until spring!

Ain't that the truth....sick of looking at snow but not gonna freeze to death installing anything right now. With my luck I can see some very expensive plastic cracking putting the fairing back on. Still gotta get the wife's bars done to.
I went with the 858 HU also, can't wait to try it all out. Maybe by the time it warms up BT will have 7.1 pods available for the 14 tour pak and I can do it all at one time.
Received my Sony stereo, 7.1 fairing speakers, 6x9 lid speakers, metro kit and 4180 amp still waiting on my painted lids from Harley and some nice weather in Nebraska
Got to enjoy my new BT4180 on a 260 mile ride yesterday here in South Texas. The amp showed the Polk DXi speaker's weakness. Managed to get a set of BT7P1Pro Series and Lid w/speaker kit to replace the Polks and CycleSounds lids at the Group buy rate. New stuff will arrive Friday!!!
