Got everything from the group buy back from the painter and installed it lsat weekend. I bought the BT4180, 7.1Pro and Lids/Speaker combo. I had been running the SoundStream amp with Polk DXi650 in the fairing and CycleSounds lids with Polk DXi690. The Biketronics upgrade is my fourth audio system, each time I've gotten better. This system is awesome!!! Wished I had spent this money three systems ago. I wear a full face helmet with earplugs most of the time and with the Biketronics setup I can hear it super clear at lower volume settings than any of the previous setups. The lids with the speakers angled in towards the rider makes a big difference over the straight up CycleSounds lids. The Biketronics / HAT speakers sound great.
I have a set of lowers that I've run off and on with speakers. I'm now contemplating a set of Biketronics 6.5" for them and seeing how a Biketronics six speaker system sounds.
Thanks again to Bill @ Biketronics and the forum members who made the group buy a reality.
