I swapped out my Kappa's for 7.1's last week. They sound great!! I will say, it's remarkable how loud you can push Kappa's for the price, but it's a very high bright sound. The 7.1's provide a much fuller sound and at cruising speeds you can hear a low end which is impressive. I can only imagine how loud the Pro's go. Went on a 2 1/2 hour ride sunday to grab a bite and on the ride back, for the first time ever I had to turn the volume down because my ears hurt. That's how loud I could push these things.
Good deal! I thought I was going to have to remember or buy something else, lol!
I wasn't even in the market for a stereo upgrade until I clicked on this part of the forum and now will have 8 speakers and a empty wallet when all is done.

Just went for a ride and I think my RZ4 is not enough....
11'clock for both. F for 7.1's and HP for 651's. Need a day when the wife is gone so I can turn it up and set it via the distortion method
Hell, I have my gains set at 12 o'clock straight up with the RZ4 and the PROS and I can feel it in my chest when I turn it up to about 27 on my Sony HU. Scared to go to 30. . .LOL!! Of course as soon as I get a chance off work I'm replacing the RZ4 with my new BT4180.

I'm thinking I don't have my gains set right. I couldn't achieve the voltage via the math equation so I played it safe with the initial gain settings
