Default Any input on this head unit?

I am getting my stereo equipment together for my Woody's fairing install. I have a Roadking and my budget is limited. I don't want to spend over 200.00 on a headunit. I also have LIMITED space in the fairing so I don't want one with a CD player. I want to shoe horn an amp in there and I have a plan but it will only work with a shallow digital media style stereo. I am not really interested in the Infinity marine unit. So...in my limited research, I came up with this head unit and a plan. What do y'all think? Is it decent? If not, what else is out there that is as shallow with bluetooth? I think I would prefer marine but I am not sure on that either. My plan is:

Sony DSXM50BT

4 Polk Audio DB521s

2 Polk Audio DB651s in my lowers(I already have them...)

Soundstream PN.520D (I already have this running my current system...)

What do y'all think?

Pretty much golden on the Sony HU. But what concerns me is your choice of speakers. Any reason why you choose the polk speakers?

The speakers in the lower pods are 6.5s. The four uppers are 5.25. I had to go that way with this fairing design.

Any input on this head unit?

They may but they cost twice as much. Are they that much better?

I have a Sony and it sounds fantastic. Lots of options to adjust the sound!

Mine isn't marine grade, i've ridden in the rain and no issues. I also keep a 20.00 cover in the bags in case I truly need it one day.

I just ordered Kendwood for a friends bike with Bluetooth for 119.00.

About $30 more dollars than the Polk DB's you have a link to. $60 more bucks total. Yes Sir! I think they are worth it!!

I ran the DB series speakers behind the SS 520 and popped one within a week. They are only rated at 60 watts. The Polk MM speakers are rated at 100 and sounded great, but I suffered 3 different stalk failures. Swapped to Infinity Kappa 62.11i, still running one pair but replaced the second pair with BT 7.1's. The Infinity's take a beating without a problem.

I hear you JPJ. I went through the exact same thing. That's what I like about the forum. Guys here with real world experience who have been there done that. The DB's sound ok while they are playing but can't take any power at all and the MM651's well we all the story on those. Can't hardly blow the infinity's. They take a lickin and keep on tickin!
