Handlebar controls for a Roadking

Handlebar controls for a Roadking
I am putting an aftermarket fairing on my king. I was thinking I may pick up a used left side handlebar switch module so I can use the volume switch. I know I will probably need a module to make it work with my Sony head unit. Anyone see an issue with this?

No sir most definitely can be done. If ya can give me a quick lesson on how to move pics from photos section of phone will post up for ya. Sony makes a marine control for boats that just plugs into the back of HU. Works like a champ not real pretty but not bad either. Beats taking eyes off road to fool with radio though. part number rmx11m About $100 Amazon basspro etc...

It's just one wire that comes with the unit that plugs into back of hu. Also has a quick disconnect about 6 inches from control unit so you can still remove fairing easy without opening it up. Definitely the way to go
