That would have a burning effect, that's why I went with Biketronics, pricey, but lifetime warranty .....Good luck with the stealers, D

The reason why I posted this is, I don't want any of my biker brother and sisters to get shafted into buying inferior speakers, for the same money one can purchase a quality speaker without all the grief!

I went with JL C-3 650, much better speaker, and of course more expensive.
Got them at Audio Electronic 5300 N Keystone ave.

Lol... Those are excellent speakers alright. I run 2 sets of the C-5's myself. Sounds like you are good!!

I've had Focal VB 165 components in my bike for two years. They sounded great and performed flawlessly. Granted, they were components vs. 2 way coax, and they were high enough end to be made in France vs. China. Only reason I took them out was to replace with BT 7.1 Pros to handle the extra oomph of the 4180 amp. My Focal's carried on great with Arc KSA125.2, RF PBR300x2 and the 4180 for a month...
