Well the 6.5 titan II arrived today , no amp yet should hopefully be here tomorrow to complete the install.
Is it worth upgrading to the 7.1 speakers? If so the titan II are for sale willing to make someone a good deal.
Try'em out ..... see how you like'em with the 2180!! The BT line up is great.
You grabbed the set that was on eBay for 69.00? I was going to grab them for a friend but someone beat me to it!! At that price their worth a run, maybe you find they're perfect for you.
well... I feel I felt behind... Nutz, Gann and Haze running all BT stuff now...
So I ordered 4180 as well and wife did not even said a word LOL (she never does complain though). Will keep my JBLs as I truly believe they are great speakers... some (awesome) people I spoke to, say they are great...
opening the fairing in a minute and taking out the - also awesome - RZ4. Time to depart and she found a new home (bike) already.
I'm tracking that amp and great to see it's on the way!!! And a huge thank you to all involved.
Kris

Good catch on the post count. Most of mine are from back in the audio upgrade days when it was tons of trial and error, and I am happy to admit it, lots of error. I hope to have shared my experiences and saved many people lots of headache and $$$$$$. Kinda like you do now, along with many others.
agree on the trial and error and testing. I pretty much started out like majority probably. Budget with the kappas & pbr300x2 with stock headunit, then decided to upgrade headunit.
Well I just hopefully made my final jump with biketronics....
Will be running the following
kenwood Kdc798
bt2180 amp
7.1 speakers !!! Look forward to these
The bt2180 amp arrived today, blah on the install. I went ahead and pulled my old wiring out and used the wiring that came with the amp. Simple process, as for grounding it not 100% sure where to place it since its a shorter wire. Did find a ground on the inside of forks somewhere. I may add on some more wire and connect to the battery. What gauge is it?
The titan II speakers are still for sale, at the last minute a buyer backed out. So why not give them a try this evening. DAMN! loud and clear!I do like these over the kappas for sure. The sound is much fuller and not bright if that makes sense. Kenwood kdc798 turned all the way up to max volume still loud and clear, no distortion. I'm very impressed with biketronics products. It was a very simple install and no issues.
Looking forward to the 7.1 speakers arriving this weekend.

Hey man I don't know you, but don't post on my thread asking for assistance and then turn around and advertise a pair of Titans you landed on eBay for 69.00 five days ago and try to hustle a forum member by selling them to him for 170.00. Especially on this very forum where people have offered you advise for free and these are the same folks your trying to make a buck off.
