Thx, was out of town since Thur... So now I am getting back into this project. The guys on this forum have been great.. Tons of help... I was looking at the head units over the weekend. If I went that route I would have to get the kit that they sell that allows you to keep your handlebar controls. But otherwise for the most part, I am getting what you are with the exception of getting the Kickers in the rear pods vs the Alpines.

If you decide to go aftermarket I just happen to have a BT1005X module brand new in the box sitting on my shelf. Just a thought.
That goes with either the Kenwood or Alpine right? Which HU would you suggest if I did go that route. what do you want for the BT1005X?
Well personally, I'm a Sony man but some good friends of mine who are members here like the Kenwood KDCX998. I've had Alpine's in my trucks over the years but never on a bike. PM me on the BT1005X.
BT4180, BT 7P1's, Kickers are all on there way... :-) Should all be here by Monday. I will let you know my thoughts after I get it installed and playing...

Right?? Man, I know I took some time to decide which way was best for me, but that HogTunes ordeal just left me questioning to many things. The BT4180 will allow me to expand when\if I feel the need. I decided to wait on the aftermarket HU until I see if this suits my needs.
I did an Amp\Speakers in my Tahoe and it was exactly what I wanted. So I decided to start there with the bike.
Believe me, if I am mooonwalking, I'll be the only witness of it.. LOL

One thing I can see myself getting most likely soon is the lowers. I have never used that lower storage for anything and a pair of speakers in there would be just the right thing to start using them for... :-)
