Default How much battery power does stereo use?

I recently installed a Kenwood HU, BT 4180 amp, 7.1 pro's in fairing, 6.5's in lowers and 6x9's in rear. Bike is a 2012 SG. How much juice does it take to run this? How long should I be able to run without starting bike? Reason I'm asking is I was showing off the radio to some friends. Unplugged battery tender. Turned off radio for roughly 10 minutes. Then when I went to fire it up it barely had enough juice to start bike. And it sucked enough juice to lose all my settings on the HU.

You need a new battery. I have 10 speakers and two high powered amps and I can play my tunes 30 minutes on full blast @ 60Hz (With bass) in the parking lot without a problem.

I haven't timed how long I can play my radio, but it isn't terribly long. I've killed my battery twice to the point my bike wouldn't start by playing with my radio in the garage. I won't run mine more than 15-20 minutes now unless I'm going to plug it into a charger for the night.
Lesson learned the hard way.

10 to 15 minutes is enough to kill my battery which should be still good being only a year old

if 15-20 minutes of play is killing your battery, you need a larger (cca) battery.

The batteries on these bikes aren't very big. I'm sure a stock bike could play the radio much longer than a bike with an amplifier.
