Called back talked to a guy, never asked me what install kit I was using. He just sold it to me lol, they have 10% off everything at the moment so the guard and vapor barrier was only 22 shipped. I was going to get my HU from them but the one I wanted was out of stock, luckily Walmart has it. Got my shipping confirmation yesterday, package should be here Thursday. I'm pretty happy with th4 decision to get a HU, I've been able to get everything I've needed for the same price I sold the stock one for

How did urs look Bates.. Mine was in the sealed bag but was all kinds of scratches . nothing deed, look like a well used CD and it has tape all the way around it.. It looks used.. I know the lady said I could get one for free if I got their install kit, I didn't expect to pay for a used one lol.. It does fit but it's a pita and not something that you can just snap on..

Mine came in a sealed bag as well but mine was the scratchless model LOL. Yeah it's a pain in the butt to get off but that just lets me know it's gotta good seal. Yours either had a rough ride in the mail or someone slipped up and sent you a used one.

I don't think it was the ride.. I know they will fix it either way so it's no big deal.. I got home and was ready to get everything installed.. Read instructions, downloaded some of the files guys had on here.. Started mocking it up and noticed my radio didn't come with 4 screws to attach the bracket to the radio.. Ran to Walmart and they didn't have any either.. So step 1 of my install was a setback lol..
