Default another splash guard option

It was recommended to me that I purchase the v twin splash guard and not look back. I have searched previous topics and found most people go with a v twin splash guard but others have used the BT one. My question is has anyone used the Scosche one? http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/wea...arley-davidson

I have a Scosche radio adapter so why not use the splash guard with it?

To me the v twin and Scosche work the same way, you have to physically remove it from around the radio. I am not sure about how the BT one works. From my research the flip splash guard kind will not work without alterations.

It seems like the v twin has a nice bubble so you can grab it but I don't think I would want to be riding and remove it. The Scosche seems to have two tabs to grab it.

to be quite honest, this is the first time i see it. Looks like a nice piece though as long as it stays put.

The problem with the other shields (there are others manufactured that look identical) is that if the wind catches it the wrong way, it's gone unless you are quick. I've been quick a couple of times but finally it got away from me.

That V-Twin shield ain't coming off.

With the savings of the scoshe over the v twin I may give it a try.

I have 1 from BT, despite being told to get the other one.. I could see spending that much.. Mine had a extremely snug fit,and I don't see I going anywhere.. The one in the link looks good, wish I would have seen it prior to buying mine..

Does the v-twin unit fit with anyone else's install kit or only theirs? Checking the website I get the impression it only works with their install kit, has anyone tried it with a BT install kit? It looks like a heck of a unit, if it would fit with my BT-1005 I'd probably give it a shot.

I'm not 100% sure on a RG but a BW, yes without a doubt it fits fine.
