Default 2 ohm parallel

What happens when you run two 2ohm speakers in parallel?

I have 2ohm in the faring and would like to add lowers. Can I run it in parallel off one 2 channel 2ohm amp?

you can only do that if your amp is 1ohm stable, which it more than likely is not. you would have to wire them in series and the amp would see a 4ohm load per channel.

Thanks for the quick answer. I figured it won't work but I had to ask.

You can use two 4 ohm pairs in parallel on a 2 ohm amp.
