I would never ask you to do something like that on your own dime. I'll hopefully get it figured out but one I don't know what half the suggestions are you guys are making and two I have little to no free time since i travel for work. I'm mechanically inclined but I've never been involved with audio anytning to know the first thing about it

I hear you brother. Just trying to help solve the issue. It's probably something simple your buddy overlooked during install. But again. I don't think it's the amp. Keep us posted on the solution.
