Boom Amp

I was recently given a boom amp(#76000070). I was wondering, if i wanted to upgrade stock speakers to Infinity Kappas 62.11- would this work with the stock HU? Thanks

I'm unfamiliar with the Boom amp, but other aftermarket amp are 2 ohm, 4 ohm, or 2 or 4 ohm stable, meaning they want to see a speaker with that impedance. The Infinity's are a 2 ohm speaker. You'll have to find out what the Boom requires. The Infinity's are nice speakers.

You shouldn't have a problem with that combination. You can use speakers with a higher impedance than your amp but not lower. Your Boom amp is either a 1 or 2 ohm amp.

Sell it brother. Not worth the labor it takes to install it. Get the infinity speakers and purchase a Cerwin Vega B2 for $120 bucks with the proceeds from the sale.
