The 4180 comes with a built in 45hz cut off so you won't blow speakers because of the distortion of the stock HU. If u have an after market HU u can set the amp to all pass and set the HPF on the amp around 80 HPF and a long slope setting. If you are using the stock HU I'd set the cut off around 45-60ish. That amp has some power to it and has a nice warm sound that will pump some bass.

thanks, thats what i had figured, just never seen it labeled as flat before....
my hertz should be here thursday, the latest i hope, so in the meanwhile i have to find my multimeter and burn that amp tuning cd and figured out my calculations for DMM amp tuning. stay tuned!
