Default Static from speakers

wondering if someone can tell me if this is normal.

on my 2014 Street Glide Special, with Stage II Boom fairing/saddlebag speakers and amps, i am getting some noise from the speakers even when the radio is muted. It sound like a light static or hissing. It's not loud enough other when the bike is running, but its very noticeable when the bike ignition is on but the bike is not running. The static will change when the turn signals are on as well.

is this normal? or do i have an issue with my wiring somewhere?

Thanks for any help

My problem was similar to yours; it turned out to be the Brake light / turn signal module that I added. (turns your turn signals into Brake lights)
Removed it and all is well.

Are you getting your power from the battery or the fuse box?

+1 Sounds like a ground loop to me as well. All your grounding points need to be the same or in other words "common ground" More often than not to the battery.

Here is one from Left Feld / Off the Wall.
With the Bike ignition in ACC and Stereo OFF (noise in speakers = Yes) then remove the turn signal bulbs one at a time.
I have had bulbs give me some strange problems in the past.
Can’t think of anything else that would be easy to find / fix without removing the Fusses / Breakers one at a time till the noise stops and then checking the wiring.
