Yes. They sound dam good! But the Infinity 693.9i's sound better if you can find a set.

Hertz HCX 690 are the loudest and clearest speakers on my bike. (in my lids)

Infinity 693.9i have the most bass (by far) and not far behind on volume. (inside my bags, were in my lids before)

I like them both for what the do, I really like that the Infinitys get loud and pump out some bass. The Hertz just get insane loud and clear, but cost a lot more though and require a higher x-over.

Yep. They are OK. But the infinity's blow them away. Don't get me wrong they sound dam good but they just don't last very long under power. I guess as is with most of the Polk products. Durability is an issue.

What kind of lids are you using? If CVO Harley lids... Biketronics HAT's 6x9's are a great speaker with waterproof adapters and lifetime warranty! Gan and haze how do the HAT's compare to the Hertz. JL's and the Infinitys?

Mike -

The HAT's are right there with the best of them. As HAZE said the Hertz are loud and clear. I run the HAT's in my lids and I love em! But I also run the Infinity's in my saddle bags. Both speakers together are awesome!! The infinity's have more BASS but the Hats are loud, clear and water resistant. I chose the hats in the lids for that reason. Not to mention the lifetime warranty.

Haze likes the Hertz but I had them a couple years back and they just didn't have enough bass for me. Not to mention they were $300 a set at the time. I know GP always loved the pioneers in the lids for bass. But IMO the infinity's have the pioneers beat by a mile. Not only do the infinity's have mega bass but they are loud/clear and take as much power as you can throw at them. For the money they are the best lid speakers out there IMO. and as you know Mike. I've pretty much had every 6x9 out there in my lids. The Infinity 693.9i's are the real deal. Sad thing is since I've been telling guys about these speakers they are getting hard to find. I need to write Infinity a letter and tell them to increase production. . . lol
