The Kappa 693.9i speakers are being discontinued. The newer model speakers are the 693.11i . They look like the have the same specs. This is probably why the 693.9i are getting hard to find.

Yep. . . But the 693.11i's are no where near the quality of the 693.9i's. I've ran both. There's no comparison.

It says here that they are no longer in production, but there's a new model now. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ty-693.9I.html

I saw those, but look at the box carefully. These are 693.3i models and if you look at the specs, they are 4ohm speakers. If you are looking for a pair this guy has 3 sets left.
