What's everyone's thoughts on running a multi-amp setup? Are the 2015's equipped with an adequate charging system to handle the current draw?
Thanks in advance
I assume you mean two amps. Not a problem with the class D amps. Keep a strong battery and you won't have any issues. Of course if you want to play subs in the parking lot you have about 20 minutes before the battery goes dead.
I was wondering this a while back and found that regardless if you have 3 amps or 10 amps our battery + charging system can only produce so much power. So even with 10 amps your still limited by how much power the bike can produce and it may be the same amount 3 amps could produce if that makes sense.
Also, different amps draw different amounts of power same as speaker types. A sub will draw more power than a horn tweeter. A horn tweeters freq range + mid bass driver = the freq range of a coaxial = roughly the same power draw. I think if your talking two amps and then something smaller to push tweeters your fine if you are doing it to separate amount of power going to specific speakers (more to the driver less to the horn).
If you are talking three HDP4's well then that's probably too much of a power draw and you're not going to get the full volume from them.
