Does anyone have a copy of the template used for installing the Harley Saddlebag lids? I've got the Hog Tunes lids but want to use Deutsch connectors instead of what came with my kit. I'd just like to use the template to have a little bit of uniformity in the install.
A template for what? There's nothing to cut out using HT lids. Also, the supplied HT connectors work fine, and they are thin so they don't interfere with your seat.

John - I assume he's talking about the 3/4 in hole he has to drill in his saddlebags for the rubber grommet to run his wires for his quick connects. In such case there is no template for those holes either.
Oh, didn't think of that. OP, don't overthink it. There's thousands of HT lids out there, and they offer a well designed product that there's no real need to improve on. The 3/4 hole isn't super critical as they are out of view and a millimeter or two one way or the other won't be seen. The instructions supplied with the lids are thorough (and don't come with a template, or at least mine didn't) and illustrate where to drill. Easy peasy.
I have signatures turned off so I don't know what year you have, but here's what I did on my 14 as far as where I ran the lid wires. Drilled a 1/2" hole, installed grommet (small one in picture). I made my own harness with deutsch connectors as well.
