Haven't had much time to post lately, I've got a '14 with this tray and the PN4.1000D amp. I can't remember why but I mounted the amp with the power leads on the front brake side and speaker inputs on the clutch side, you won't need 90 degree plugs (see pic)
If you have a question fire away and I'll try to help.
Good to know. If I move up to the PN4.1000D I'll do the same.
Do you have a pic of the final install?
Bertk- here's the best pics I have. I'm also in SW Florida area so if I'm in town and you need any help let me know. Some things to have handy before you start, plenty of zip ties, 2 strips of velcro. I would also recommend getting a couple 10ga butt connectors to use for the power wires (amp end), a couple short pieces of shrink tubing, and blue loctite (paste type).

Thanks for the pics Scott.
The 1000D looks like it fits better than the 520D. One reason being, you don't have the CB module and he output side of the 1000D is designed different and fits into the cutout on the tray. This will help me a lot if I upgrade to the the 1000D.
I tinned the ends of the power and ground wires along with the speaker wires but, the butt connectors are the way to go. And yes, I did use a little bit of lictite on screws downs. It's a must because they will come loose.

Bertk- if you have the CB it won't fit in the normal location, I have one and haven't put it back in yet as I'm waiting to get one of the Ultra consoles so I can plug in there. I think that the CB will fit (just test fitted so far) if you are using the BT speaker brackets, mounting it opposite of the stock location to the speaker brackets. When I get the new console I'll post up a few pictures if it works for sure.
