I know I'm not answering your question however some have used plumbing/pipe strapping to mount that amp. I am one of these folks. There are pictures floating around here. Use that and sell the JM amp tray. Use the money for something else. Just an idea.
I just installed the J&M bracket along with BT 7.1s and SS PN4.520D.
The J&M bracket is high quality SS. I found that the SS is hard as hell when drilling through it. The SS PN4.1000D would be a tight fit. And I suspect you would need 90 degree RCA plugs for low level inputs. Phat Performance has them for $121.
Haven't had much time to post lately, I've got a '14 with this tray and the PN4.1000D amp. I can't remember why but I mounted the amp with the power leads on the front brake side and speaker inputs on the clutch side, you won't need 90 degree plugs (see pic)
If you have a question fire away and I'll try to help.

I did mine very similar, but since the extra plate didn't come with mine, it sits flat right above the Hu. Now I'm gonna worry about heat
jester- I've got an old small mount from when I had my RF amp, if you want it you might be able to adapt it so your amp sits off the HU. PM me your address and I'll send it off.
