OK then a short trip to the drawing board....
Based on the speakers I'm guessing the consensus is an amp at least 75 watts up?

So what's the best reecomendation? I may or may not need to find a new place to mount the bt line levelers and crossovers for my speakers. Which was a plus for the memphis amp with its size

Note* One tip on the gains. You always want to set your gains low as possible to get good sound. The stronger the signal on your HU and the higher the sensitivity on your speakers the lower you can set the gains. High gains more often than not cause distortion.
Thanks for the tip. As a side note the Memphis, NVX and Cyclesounds are all the same amp. Not sure who is really making them. I did take a look at the bench test results too. So as far as that amp goes it is a nominal gain.

This amp will blow away the one you have and doesn't break the bank and will drive those speakers easily.

We love the drawing board around here! My recommendation would be to go with the Cewin Vega B52 and switch out your rear speakers with the Alpines or the Kickers and run your speakers in parallel off the B52.

I was going to ask about that site too. They seem to have pretty good prices.
I should have mentioned I have the bt line levelers that are integrated into their breakout harness since the rushmore have different rear hookups. I do like the sound I have now in the hertz and if I do change them would probably go with another component speaker. Which for the rears will be interesting to figure out.

Sonic is by far the best online audio store. I've purchased and returned things to them - no questions asked.

i respectfully disagree not even sonic can compete with crutchfield when it comes to customer service. on more than one occasion they have over-nighted me a replacement WITH the return shipping label, and we are not talking about $100 items here. most retailers, including sonic i believe, require you to send back yours before they send out a new one and/or a refund. plus the guys who answer the phone at crutchfield are pretty damn good.

the flip side is that crutchfield typically is higher priced than any other retailer, but they are an authorized vendor for EVERYTHING they sell, so there will never be any warranty issues. not many sites can make that claim.

I like em both. But if Sonic has the same product for $100 cheaper. I'll go with Sonic every time. I've noticed lately Sonic and Crutchfield prices have been about the same. 2 years ago Sonic was much cheaper. I think they got their competition figured out.

Yeah Crutchfield is awesome. I remember YEARS ago, pre-internet, ordering from their catalog. But like you stated, normally Sonic has better prices.
