Is that bass coming from the fairing speakers or the lid speakers? If that is the fairing speakers producing that bass, I will be buying a set real soon! It sounds incredible man! Congrats!
I have Focal AC 690s in the lids and they are not a bass speaker thus I think we are mainly hearing the fairing speaks hitting really damn hard.
I am very very impressed with the bass these K2s deliver!!! They are nothing like what most of the focal products are known for, bad **** SQ and no bass.
I knew I never could touch them price wise but when I saw them for $499 brand new I knew it was a fluke price and had to pick them up, along with a bunch of extra shifts at work!!!
Also cannot get lowers on the bike so I keep telling myself that this higher cost for these speaks is justified.
You did extremely well man. I can not imagine what they sound like in person. If you make another video I request Biggie Hypnotize or Coolio Ganster paradise
That's how you show off a system. I just went back and searched your first vid with this song, yeah this sounds so much clearer and louder and it's just a phone recording. I know people here will crack jokes on song choices but it's easy to make a dude with a guitar sound good and loud on a set of 6.5 speakers. Wanna have an impressive sound system on a bike make a vid with song that has a ton of bass AND can play loud AND capture that over a phone recording. Now that's a proper system!
Glad you cracked the code brother. When you get bored you'll have some 6X9's "inside" your bags.
Thank you very much Haze!! I really do appreciate all of the time and energy you and the other subject matter experts on this form invest in helping a Brotha out!!!
Yeah, I will be scratching my head every time I look at my lids. But cannot wait to start dreaming about all of the cool possibilities!!!!!
That sounds really good T, so what's the difference in sound with the Focals compared to the Mille's, is it just better bass or also SQ. I think the Focals sound better with a lot of power behind them, that 4180 being a loud and clean amp matches up well with the Focals, what do you think. I know my Focal KPS components really woke up with the 4180. It looks like you got a steal on em, guys will want to know where you got em (my KPS's listed for $1000 but I got em for $320 open box from Sonic Electronics). Why can't you put lowers on your bike? Nice scoot btw!! Keep up the good work Bro!

Thanks Moto M!!!! The Millie's will not be leaving my possession, I hope. Great speaker. Very similar qualities of the Focal KRC with just a little smaller dose of steroids which is represented in the price point.
BT Bill has tested the hell out of the Millie's and there are some performance inconsistencies that only exist when paired with the Rushmore HU. Think he said higher end volume flattening and also something about spikes occurring at 9 volts. This basically explains a portion of the issues I was having during my initial amp install.
So the Millie's will be patiently awaiting an aftermarket HU.
I got the Focal KRC at ABT Electronics. Think they really screwed up on the internet pricing.

Thanks for the info T!! Yeah I saw Bill's review of the Mille's, I think Haze said he liked the HXC's better, sometimes the "latest and greatest" isn't as good as "tried and true". Keep up the good work!

T.
Got a question for you T. I am not familiar with that song and did not know what to expect sound wise. After listening to your first video with the J&M, then the video form Bunker with the Moto's (still doing tuning) then this video with the Focals. I can now hear the full range of sounds this song produces compared to the muffled sound of the J&M setup. So my question is, if you fade all the way to the front how does it sound?
