Keep in mind the BT2180 is set up to run another set of speakers even though it's a 2 channel amp (labeled and ready for the additional wires). I installed Arc 602s and the BT2180 on a friends 15 RG recently (sounds phenomenal). He's on the fence with doing lids, but if he does all we'll need to do is run the speakers in parallel. The amp is stable to 2ohms, even though you'll lose the ability to fade, you can still go that route.

The Moto 602's have MUCH more bass then the Titans. They get very loud without loosing SQ. The louder you run them the better they sound. The 602's do require a lot of power. A minimum of 150watts is a good start. There's a very thorough review of the Moto 602's in this thread.

Yes, I recommended the Arcs from running a full 4 speaker setup with them as my...er...2nd or maybe 3rd system last year? I'm on my 5th stereo since July...I like to experiment! I won't say anything bad about the BT speakers at all, top quality all the way as with all of their products. Other motivation for using the Arcs was that I have a set of the 6x9s in the garage so when he decides to do lids we're all set.

As you'll read on this forum by all of us audioheads, you can't go wrong with Biketronics, Arc, Focal, Hertz, ect.

I have to say though, the BT2180 and 602's have an unbelievable soundstage.

Any fabrication needed to install arcs? I like that Bt sales everything you need without too much fabrication to the bike. I have done plenty audio systems in cars and one bike, but would like to do the least amount of cutting as possible. thanks for the info guys.

Can I ask why your ARC 692 (6x9) are in the garage inventory and not making noise? Curious where you ended up going with your bags.

Will the BT4180 have enough juice to make the ARC 692s dance?

Thanks!!!!

T.

Nothing crazy for the Arc's to fit. Front 602s required removing the rubber magnet surround, pulls right off. The 692s bolted up in the bag to the brackets (cheap ebay 6x9 lids).

To answer Tailwind, the 6x9s are in the garage inventory because I went with a full DD setup. Had the 602/692 combo and thought I sounded great, blew everyone away. Then everyone in the Pittsburgh area was saying "Yours sounds great, but did you hear ____'s bike? That's on another level!". I hear from dozens of random people, all talking about this guy's bike. I eventually meet up to compare stereos (very nice guy and now a friend), his KILLED mine. He was running all Digital Designs, very loud and crystal clear. I said, eff it, I'll switch my entire system around again, why not? It was done purely as a test experiment, nothing more. Kept the factory HU and SS pn1000 amp, swapped all my speakers then added a pair of 8'' DD VO full range subs in the bags. My bike sounded like a dang concert rolling down the road, even had to start carrying a stack of business cards to hand out in traffic LOL! But I've said before on this forum, need to switch the fronts because the DD B3 horns don't produce a crisp enough high for my tastes.

So basically, in my bags I have full range DD VO 6x9s, VO 8s, and DD B2 horns in top of the bag lids. A four speaker setup with nice 6.5s up front and 6x9s in the back alright for somebody who wants great sound...I want insane, over-the-top, nobody is close, type sound!

Will the 4180 make the 692s dance? I would think so based on what the 2180 does to the 602s. The 4180 is one hell of an amp!!!
