Since HD conveniently omitted the capability of having full duplex BT in the stock BOOM infotainment systems (2015+), I have been going blind trying to find a workaround.
Currently, I use a combination of items my own concoction of tech - just to listen to the audio. I got an EPS-Y1 Adapter 7-pin from eGlideGoodies, plug a cheap BT transmitter and use simple BT earbuds (both use batteries with about 4 hours playtime). But, I am really hoping to find a solution for 2-way capability that will allow me to toss the mondo, physical cord connection that is needed for intercom and CB.
I cannot believe there is absolutely NO tech out there that will let me use 2-way voice though the BOOM system wirelessly.
I do not trust anything that guy says. Most of the time he only gives you a hint then wants you to buy the video. I do not like that; of course I do not like cops that ride HD's very much either. Jus my .02$
