Default Decently priced setup

I am looking for advice on a good amp and fairing speakers for my 2008 street glide. Want a nice clean sound with a little bass and something that sounds good at 60mph+ without having to crank it up just to hear it. looking to spend around 250 on this. What should I get?

Honest answer is for 250.00 you are not going to get "good clean sound with bass". You can put together something you can hear at speed, but nothing that will blow you away. On a budget your best bet is Cerwin B2 or B52 amplifier and a set of Infinity Kappa 62.11i speakers. You will also need 5.25 to 6.5 adaptors and an amp wiring kit. I would also use a Line Out Converter if you have the stock HU. That's around 300 bucks right there.

Haze nailed it. That's about as good as it gets for $250. You need another $250 to get some good speakers with bass. The amp is golden.

Bigred1963 has a decent set up in classifieds for $175
SS PN 4 520 and polk mm651
Then all you would need is speaker adapters
