I think so but not sure why this is an issue. I run two 4 channel amps and have it like this from the radio.
May be he has the LL voltage to low.My experience it needs to be 2 +volts.
If I know you HAZE you are probably pushing 4+to each channel.
When I was setting my system up I played with LL voltage and it didn't come ALIVE till I was over 2 volts on the output of the LL then readjusted the amp gains to match
Edit: I found My notes when I was doing my setup with stock 6.5gt HU
At full volume my LL are at 2.0 volts and amp output voltage is at 25ish ac
Ok, that's Greek speak to me..lol
No clue what your saying...
Rather than running the outputs from the HU to the low level line converter then to the amp, you would run the HU outputs directly to the amp. Doing so can increase voltage to the amp allowing the amp not to work so hard. This can reduce gains and in some cases increase SQ and volume. Using the stock HU the results my be less noticeable.
Saying that, the Micro4 amp doesn't have RCA inputs on the amp so that means you would have to cutting the RCA ends off and use butt connectors or soldering the wires together to make the connection. Some amps give you the choice without having to cut wires that would make this much easier. So, you most likely don't want to cut the the wires just to test this out.
It was just an idea and probably not worth the hassle.

That's the setting on the LL right? How do I check ?
FWIW...the volume is great and sounds clear, using my phone to play music and turning on the eq in the app I can get some pretty good bass from it with the hu bass all the way up, but just hu alone bass is lacking...mid range sounds good, highs are clear.
Looking for more thump, without dropping coin.
Wondering if dropping woofers in the pods would be worth it...

You have good quality speakers, and a high quality clean amp. The source (stereo) that feed those components is not quality or clean. The stereo is the weak link. You pretty much proved it by bypassing it and using your phone with an EQ. You should consider installing an aftermarket stereo before adding more speakers.
Here an example of a two Hertz Mille Pro speaker setup with a clean BT amp and a Kenwood x998 aftermarket stereo.
I'd ditch the stock HU if I could retain the grip controls and cb...I've seen hu that retain grip controls but not anything that will keep cb...
Well that is a limiting factor. It look like your stuck with using a device connected to the AUX input as you are doing now. Unless someone else can come up with a another option.
Just something to consider, Iron Cross Audio can add a iPod interface to the stock HU. Might be worth looking at but isn't cheep.
