Well put an end to my upgrade woes yesterday, after 9 years one of the partners came in and told me they were shutting down my division effective that day.
Talk about blindside!
Not sure what's next, but I do know no more audio upgrades for a while lol Just wish it would have happened a few months ago BEFORE I got this audio bug lol
Thanks for all the help guys, really good info here and great people with a ton of knowledge. I'll be back at it once I find something else and get settled, let's hope sooner rather than later
Sorry to hear about that.
Good luck on your next endeavors Just because you have had a snag put on any upgrades doesn't mean that you cannot hang out with us and lend some help to the ones just starting out chasing the unicorn.

Damn brother! Sorry to hear that. I know the feeling. They told us at the end of January that they'd be closing our plant. They gave us 60 days (only because they had to by law). We have until some where between April 1 to June 30. Good luck man!

I've been in your situation a few times in my 60+ years, so I'm well aware of your feeling about being "blind-sided".
Putting a "hold" on unnecessary spending is a wise move.

Bunker that sucks, but on the upside is a every challenge is an opportunity to succeed and surely you will come out of it on the other end.
The real upside to consider and this happens to me all the time as we "chase the unicorn" is that it stands right now you have a bad azz bike, with a great amp, some bumping Arc Moto's and in the grand scheme of things that already fantastic as it is. It's the hobby that we enjoy but damn sometimes I have to remind myself that my bike sounds great, looks great, and life's challenges are just life. Even when things are tough, we have it good.

Same thing happened to me in 09 Bunker after 23 years. Not a showstopper. Shake it off and move on bro. When one door closes another one opens. There's always another firm that will appreciate your skill and ability. Polish up the old resume and get back in the fight!
Sorry to hear that Bunker...Happened to me in the early 80's. I was working at Texaco refinery in Lockport, (great union job) came in one afternoon to punch in there was a notice on the clock that the plant was closing, thought it was a joke, it wasn't. Reaganomics took out Texaco and GAF and CAT in joliet. Good luck brother, maybe it will turn out for the better, don't be a stranger here!
I have no plans on stopping posting, in fact I'll probably post more now
Think I may take a trip next week, just to clear my head and decide on what to do next in life
Hey Bunker, you mentioned they were shutting down your division if you care to say what company or at least what you do (or did) for a living. I'm just curious. If you care not to say thats cool also! Like I said before good luck Bro!
