It'll over stress the charging system on the bike. It should be listed on the amp what class it is.

I don't think that is the same amp that I have. Anyway thanks to all for the help, and I'm sure I'll be back with more questions. I'm gonna try to find the paperwork now that I've already started with the install

Do this:

Unplug the connects AT your speakers. Connect speaker wire to the factory speaker wires that you just disconnected and run that new speaker wire BACK to the amp and connect that to your Amp inputs (pos and neg).

Then run new speaker wires from your amp out put (pos and neg) to your speakers.

No splicing.
this helped me a lot; what about the other wires? Thanks.

Hey, thanks it was worth a try. Do you have any knowledge on this subject. I took off my fairing and it was a mess. Tired of the clipping so I unwired everything on my amp now I’m clueless. Thanks again.

Well.....we have NO idea of what you're working on.
What bike do you have?
Aftermarket radio? Amp?
What have you done so far?
What is your experience working on a bike?
